I didn't get any free/discount turkey deal this year, so on Thanksgiving Day, I went out. Actually, it was the ideal day to find geocaches at or near shopping centers. When I started out from home on Thursday morning, it was raining. So it was a nice surprise that when I reached Easton in Lehigh Valley, it was sunny. The temperature was mild the whole day; 72-77°F and breezy. I was on a roll the whole day. Sunny and 66°F. It was such a nice day that I thought I'd go outside for a bit. Ran some errands in downtown Park Ridge. Also went to Staples to use the $10 gift check. Staples has been experimenting with new ways of paying out rebates to cut costs. They used to send out checks that I could cash at the bank but the last two rebates were different. ( Read more... )

Sunny and 70°F. It's a heatwave! :) I planned on going from North to South at first but ended up going from East to West because most of the new geocaches are in the Western part of Central Jersey. Hot day. Moderately humid. There was rain but I seem to have missed it entirely. Went to Bucks County, Pennsylvania, although I actually made two stops in New Jersey for geocaches before I crossed over. The eastern portion of Bucks County is both good and bad.
